First and foremost, I want to thank you as Bare Naked Words girls for the opportunity to be reviewing this book that I've been obscuring from their cover and synopsis.
Misadventures of a City Girl is the volume that opens the series Misadventures, this first volume was written by best-selling authors Meredith Wild and Chelle Bliss, by Watherhouse press.
A story from the first book in the series introduces us to Madison Atwood, she is in the process of divorcing her husband, and because he is a Hollywood star the same, or both are followed by the dreaded paparazzi. In a matter of being in a turbulent time and through all this media chase, she finds herself lost and seeks a place to reckon, Avalon Springs and her bet. A quiet place, away from everything and everyone, or not so much. She had no idea she could find a man whose heart was beating fast, Luke Dawson. Luke Dawson is a man and so much, my heart of reader has been kind of weakened with so much petuberance that contains in it, to read you will know.
A book that contains funny, hot and somewhat unnecessary scenes in some parts by repetitions of some sex scenes, in my humble opinion the book has sinned in this part, but I must point out for the reading public that loves a HOT, this is a cue of them, and as authors show themselves in connection with presenting us with a wonderful plot to read, the characters were very well involved, the narrative, thoughI have enjoyed Luke's story more, it's incredible. Chelle and Meredith have left their mark on this great partnership and made the book what it is, WONDERFUL!
